The site is the primary point of contact for an active author, law professor, and expert witness, with a new book and speaking schedule ahead. I ran a full review of the live site and delivered a written proposal that grouped the findings — broken contact controls, publications and book pages missing from navigation, live Squarespace demo content being indexed by search engines, unedited page titles and missing meta descriptions — and laid out two paths: targeted repair on the current platform, or a full rebuild on custom, owned code.
Alongside the proposal I produced three design directions for the homepage, books, and bio, so the client could choose tone and structure before any build began — the same process behind the site you're on now.
- Live-site audit across functionality, content architecture, design, and search visibility
- Written proposal with costed paths forward and open decision points
- Three homepage / books / bio directions as clickable concepts
- Rebuild in React & TypeScript on owned code
